Roger L. Sharp
Roger Sharp is the CEO and co-owner alongside his children and son-in-law of Sharp Funeral Homes. He established Sharp Funeral Homes in 1971, which has locations in Flint, Swartz Creek, Fenton and Linden. He also was instrumental in starting the Flint Prearrangement Center. Roger is a graduate of Ferris State College and California College of Mortuary Science. Roger is a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Roger L. Sharp II (RJ)
RJ received a Bachelor of Science Degree from Michigan State University in 1997 and a Bachelor of Mortuary Science Degree from Wayne State University in 2000. He currently serves on the Linden Downtown Development Authority. RJ has been active in many community and civic organizations within Genesee County including Fenton Regional Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and Swartz Creek Downtown Development Authority, as well as national professional organizations. RJ is a Certified Funeral Service Practitioner through the Academy of Professional Funeral Service Practice. RJ and his three daughters Remy, Mason and Parker live in Linden and are active members of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Fenton.
Michael T. Scully
Michael has worked with Sharp Funeral Homes for over 30 years and is currently the President of Funeral Service Operations. He was a 1982 graduate of Linden High School and received a Associates Degree from Ferris State University in 1987, and a Bachelor's Degree in Mortuary Science from Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science in 1989. Michael is a Linden native and resides there with his wife, Jennifer and their twins, Samuel and Paige. They are members of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Fenton and are very active in the community. Michael has served on the Fenton Regional Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, where he also served on the Executive Board and has chaired the Annual Chamber Golf Outing for many years. He is a member of the Fenton Rotary Club, Fenton Knights of Columbus, and the Fenton XX Men's Club.
Jennifer Sharp Scully
Jennifer is a 1988 graduate of Swartz Creek High School, 1992 graduate of Michigan State University, and 1993 graduate of Mid-America College of Funeral service in Jeffersonville, Indiana. Jennifer has been a licensed funeral director since 1993. She currently holds the roles of manager of the Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Flint/Grand Blanc Township and Secretary for the company. Jennifer and her husband Michael Scully reside in Linden, with their children Samuel and Paige. They are members of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Fenton. Sam and Paige are third grade students at St. John School. Jennifer spends her free time accompanying Sam and Paige to their extracurricular activities which include Karate, Scouts, Swim, and Golf. She enjoys volunteering time for school activities and events and spending time at home on Lobdell Lake.
Stephanie Sharp Foster
Stephanie grew up in Swartz Creek and is a 1991 graduate of Swartz Creek High School. She graduated in 1993 from Mid-America College of Funeral Service in Jeffersonville, IN. Stephanie is a licensed funeral director serving area families and her role also includes Treasurer for Sharp Funeral Homes and manager of the Linden Chapel. She has lived in Fenton since 1998 with her husband Brendan and their two sons, Preston and Bennett. They are members of The Rock Church in Fenton. She enjoys volunteering for many of her son's school activities and sporting events, as well as, serving in the children's ministry at The Rock Church.
Clark Connolly has served area families since 1963. A native of Belleville, Michigan he attended Cleary College in Ypsilanti and Michigan State Normal College (now Eastern Michigan University). He graduated from Wayne State University and received his Mortuary Science License. The Michigan Funeral Directors Association recently honored him for his extensive service as a Funeral Director. Clark belongs to the Genesee County Historical Society, the Dom Polski Club and has been a member of many other community organizations. Past member of the West Flint Kiwanis Club, obtained certification from The International Conference of Funeral Service Examining Boards and certification from the Dodge Institute for advanced mortuary studies. He is a practicing member of the Roman Catholic Faith and lives in Grand Blanc Township.
Steve has been a funeral director since he graduated from Wayne State University in 1994. He has served families in the Genesee and surrounding counties for the past 20 years. He has been with Sharp Funeral Homes since 2008. He and his wife Amy live with their sons, Jake and Alex in Lapeer Township. They belong to Lapeer Assembly of God Church. Steve is active in the community, and the chairman of the Lapeer Chapter of Ducks Unlimited.
Erin Rae Baker
Erin Rae received her Bachelor of Biology from the University of Michigan and studied Pathology at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI). She started working for Sharp Funeral Homes in 2010 and has fulfilled many roles within the company. Erin Rae grew up in Fenton and now lives in Fenton Township with her husband, Timothy. They are avid golfers and enjoy traveling in Northern Michigan.
Zach has been a funeral director since he received his Degree in Mortuary Science from Worsham College of Mortuary Science in 2012. He has recently moved back to the Genesee County area after serving families in the Petoskey area for the past four years. He and his wife Michelle live with their daughter Peyton in Grand Blanc. Zach plans to be active in the community once settled. He enjoys time with his family and dog, outdoor activities, and riding his motorcycle.
Greg received a Bachelor of Business Administration from Michigan State University in 1981 and then attended Wayne State University where he studied Mortuary Science. He became a licensed funeral director in 1982, and is a fourth generation funeral director. Greg is happily married to Anna M. Buresh and currently resides in White Lake.
Jennifer lives in Swartz Creek with her 9 year old son, Santino. She graduated from Swartz Creek High School and Mid America College of Funeral Service, Jeffersonville, IN. She is a member of Flint First Wesleyan Church. Jennifer has worked in funeral service for 20 years as a funeral director as well as assisting families with cemetery markers and monuments. She enjoys spending time with family and friends and watching her son play baseball, basketball and soccer.
Holli is a proud Army Military spouse to husband, Dale of 6 years. She has lived in the state of Michigan and the Flint Township area for most of her adult life. She attended New Lothrop Christian High School where she graduated and proceeded to college at Spring Arbor University to pursue a degree in Social Work. After marrying Dale and traveling with him to Army bases such as Fort Leonard Wood, and Fort Hood, they have come back to Michigan as their permanent home where they attend Davison Free Methodist Church. Holli is both honored and privileged to serve her community and it’s families.
Matt has been a licensed Director for ten years. He studied at the University of Cincinnati where he received an Associate’s Degree. Following his time there he attended the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Mortuary Science. Matt currently resides in the Metro Detroit area with his wife Lauren and their daughter Madeline.
Chris grew up in Livonia Michigan, moved to Genesse county when he was 20. While in Genesse County he worked for EMS and on a volunteer fire department, though he is no longer involved with either. In 2014, Chris completed his Bachelors of Science in Mortuary Science from Wayne State University. He previously worked for Vermeulen Funeral Homes, Inc. and Perry Funeral Home, and later the R.J. Nixon and H.F. Thon Funeral Homes in Wyandotte. Chris accepted the position with Sharp Funeral Homes and moved back to his community in January of 2016.
Chris has been involved with Freemasonry since he was 21, he is currently a member of the Swartz Creek Kiwanis Club, and is an Eagle Scout. In his spare time, he keeps turtles and aquaria, rescue and rehome animals (with a focus on reptiles), spend time in, on and around the water, and work around the house and yard. He also enjoys spending time with his parents and brother.
Martie was recently married to Dr. Robert McLandress. Martie has two children, Lisa (Jeff) Harris and Jason (Jill) Lind. 4 grandsons, Bradley and Alex Harris and Preston and Graham Lind. She graduated from Linden High School and has lived in Linden her entire life with the exception of the years spent at MSU. Martie is a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. She enjoys golfing, boating, antiquing and going to her grandsons' sporting events at Powers Catholic High School. Martie has been employed at Sharp Funeral Homes for the past 10 years in various positions. The past five years as an Advanced Planning Counselor. Martie enjoys meeting with families to help them understand the benefits of pre-planning.
Jenny has proudly worked for Sharp Funeral Homes for 8 1/2 years as a Funeral Directors Assistant and most recently Coordinator of the Fenton Chapel. She grew up in Flint, was a 1998 graduate of Kearsley High School and attended Mott Community College. Jenny attends St. Augustine Catholic Church. She and her husband, JD reside in Linden with their son, Dominick. In her spare time she enjoys music, spending time with her family and boating on Lobdell Lake.
Julie has worked for Sharp Funeral Homes for 23 years, working many positions, most recently as a Funeral Directors Assistant and Coordinator of the Miller Road Chapel. She grew up in Flint and is a graduate of Flint Southwestern High School and attended Michigan State University. Julie is very active with St Robert Church and school. She and her husband, Steven reside in Flushing, they have 3 children, Tyler, Lindsey and Makenna. She enjoys spending time with her family, helping out at school events and watching sporting events of all types.
Jackie has worked for Sharp Funeral Homes for nearly two years. She is a Funeral Directors Assistant and Coordinator of the Flint/Grand Blanc Township location. Jackie lives in Fenton, and grew up in Davison. She has a daughter, Christina and two grandchildren, Camden and Ryleigh who live in Georgia. Prior to working for Sharp Funeral Homes, Jackie was in the hospitality business for 25 years in Genesee County. She enjoys gardening, working out, spending time with family and trips to Georgia.
Cheryl A. Marshall
Cheryl is married to Rick for the past 37 years and mother of four children, Ricky, who preceded her in death in 1996 at the young age of 15. It is her personal experience through the loss of Ricky, which God used to call her into funeral service where she strives to make a difference in the lives of every family she has had the privilege to serve. Chad and wife Shelly who are the parents of Veronica, Marlo and Lennon; Cassie and husband Jon parents of Brody, Lily and Gracie and Calvin and wife Jamie parents of Gavin. Second only to her Savior and Lord, Jesus, are her husband, children, grandchildren and other close family members who are the light of her life and the most important aspects of her life and breath! Cheryl is incredibly grateful for each one of them and every hour of each day that she has them! She has attended Central Church of the Nazarene for the past 15 years where she has served by leading a small group bible study in women’s ministry and also in marriage ministry with her husband. In her discretionary time, she enjoys her Rocky Mountain Horse, Indy. Professionally, she has had the incredible honor and privilege to serve on the staff of Sharp Funeral Homes as a Certified Preplanning Consultant; Veterans Coordinator; Community Education Coordinator and Aftercare Specialist.
