Alice Merkel

Merkel, Alice - Age 99, of Grand Blanc, died December 28, 2017. A private burial at Roseland Park Cemetery has taken place. Memorial service will be held 11 AM Wednesday, January 10 at the Berean Baptist Church, 6705 Rustic Ridge Trail, Grand Blanc. Alice was born August 13, 1918 in Chicago, Il., the daughter of Hendrik and Aaltje (Pieters) Hollebeck. She married Frank Merkel March 2, 1946 in Pontiac; he preceded her in death on March 3, 2004. Alice attended Salvation Army Training College in Chicago. She was a member of the Berean Baptist Church in Grand Blanc. She is survived by her children, Debra Quertermous, John Merkel, Ruth Merkel, David Merkel, Ruby Anderson.
