Edward Bjorling

BJORLING, Edward Allan - age 87, of Fenton, died Friday, June 16, 2017. Services will be held 10:00 AM Thursday, June 22. 2017 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 W. Silver Lake Rd., Fenton (casual patriotic attire is requested). Interment will follow at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly. Visitation will be held 1-4 and 6-8 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Mr. Bjorling was born February 27, 1930 in Buffalo, NY, the son of George and Pauline (Sherman) Bjorling. He attended Fenton High School and was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Korean War. Mr. Bjorling married Eileen Joyce Orritt on November 8, 1952 in Fenton and she preceded him in death. He retired from General Motors as a supervisor in Purchasing working in the Pontiac Fiero division. Mr. Bjorling was a former member of First Presbyterian Church of Fenton and was attending Venture Church in Hartland. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, hunting, and golfing, with his family. Surviving are: three children, Debbie Bjorling Uhley of Hartland, Bradley (Josie) Bjorling of Jerome, and Clark Bjorling of Fenton; two grandchildren, Matthew and Brianna Uhley; brother, George Bjorling of Findlay, OH; sister, Sandra Lemon of Fenton; brother-in-law, Pat Feetham; sister-in-law, Pat Orritt; and several nieces and nephews also survive. He was preceded in death by: his wife; his parents; his sister, Myrna Feetham; and sister-in-law, Bonnie Bjorling.
