Obituary for Harold Mason Dexter

DEXTER, Harold Mason - Age 62, of Cohoctah, died Thursday, May 3, 2018. Funeral services will be held 2:30 PM Saturday, May 5, 2018 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Pastor John Ashley officiating. Burial in Oakwood Cemetery, Fenton. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Saturday from 12:30 until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to the Harold M. Dexter Memorial Fund, c/o the family.

Harold was born August 12, 1955 in Flint, the son of Harold Glenn and Kitty (Doom) Dexter. He was a 1974 graduate of Fenton High School and received a certification from the Denver Automotive and Diesel College in Denver, CO. He married Bonnie Lea Ream May 15, 1982 in Linden. He retired from Livingston Educational Service Agency after 31 years of service. Harold had resided in Cohoctah since 1984 coming from Fenton.

Surviving are: his wife, Bonnie; son, Ben; daughter, Elisabeth; siblings, Midge and husband Jim Nickel of Fenton, Fran and husband Gary Ingersoll of Florida, his twin brother, Darold and wife Cathy Dexter of Fenton, and Frank and wife Rachelle Dexter of Las Vegas, NV; brother-in-law, Norm Pfeiffer of Fenton; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Mary Pfeiffer. Online tributes may be shared on www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
