Obituary for James Joseph "Jimmy" "Sinatra" Stevens

STEVENS, James Joseph "Jimmy Sinatra" - Age 79, of Flint, died Friday, May 12, 2017. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Tuesday, May 16 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint. Burial will follow in Crestwood Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be held 10:00 AM until the time of service Tuesday. Those desiring may make contributions to Disabled American Veterans.

James was born September 5, 1937 in Pontiac, the son of Vern L. and Rose A. (Cullion) Stevens. James was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, serving for 8 years. He worked at Art Van Furniture for 15 years. He had also worked at Ross Furniture, Montgomery Ward and Bassett Furniture. James enjoyed singing karaoke.

James is survived by his three children, Misha McKenzie, Carlos Drago and Jim Stevens; grandchildren, Devon, Austin, Brandon and Brittany; great-grandchildren, Brennyn, Emmitt and Claire; sister, Joan Ramsey; sister-in-law, Yvonne Stevens; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Vern L. Stevens Jr.
