Janet Kurtz

KURTZ, Janet Marie - age 70, died suddenly, Wednesday, May 10, 2017. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Janet was born July 9, 1946 in Los Angeles, CA, the daughter of Theodore W. and Ruth (Hardt) Benedict. She married David Kurtz on March 4, 1985. Janet loved spending time at their cabin in Grayling, quilting and gardening. Surviving are: husband, David Kurtz; three children, Todd Monge and wife, Nicole, Ryan Monge and companion, Jaci, and Amber Monge; four step-children, Heather Kurtz Orr and husband, Rhett, Jennifer Kurtz, Brandy Kurtz and partner, Laura Place, and Nathan Kurtz; four grandchildren, Quinn, Zachary, Mason and Nicholas; two sisters, Jennifer Clifford and husband, Sid, and Joan Vierra; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Donald and Mary Kurtz; many nieces and nephews.
