HUTH, Margit - age 90, of Fenton, died Sunday, May 7, 2017. Funeral mass will be celebrated 11 AM Thursday, May 11, 2017 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide St. Fenton with Fr. Robert Copeland celebrant. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held 4-8 PM Wednesday at the funeral home where a scripture service will be held at 7 PM. Visitation will also be held 10 AM - 11 AM Thursday at the church. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to Dementia & Alzheimer's research. Mrs. Huth was born November 25, 1926 in Bascalmas, Hungary, the daughter of Franz and Maria (Schaffer) Nitsch. She married Anthony Huth in 1952 in Ulm, Germany. In 1955, they came with their son to America. Margit worked for Koegel Meats for over 30 years. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, the St. Joseph Hungarian Club and the Open Gate Garden Club. Mrs. Huth was among many other things an acclaimed baker and cook, a passionate gardener, a hard worker and a loving, cheerful person. Surviving are: son, Attila Huth and wife, Sandy Ryder; granddaughter, Abby Ryder-Huth and husband, Luke Paisley; sisters-in-law, Teresie Nitsch and Kati Piroska; nieces and nephews, Tony and Jeanette Nitsch, Steve and Jo Nitsch, Ingolf and Karin Nitsch, Constantine Huth and partner, Birgit, and Isabella Piroska and partner, Georg; numerous grand nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by: her husband, Tony and brother, Adam Nitsch. Friends may share an online tribute on the obituary page of www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
