Paul Mulnix

MULNIX, Paul Lyle -- Age 70, of Swartz Creek, died June 23, 2018. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Thursday, June 28 at Swartz Creek United Methodist Church, 7400 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Pastor Dr. Gary Glanville officiating. Visitation will be held 2-8 PM Wednesday and again 10 AM Thursday until time of service at the church. Arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel. In lieu of flowers those desiring may make contributions to Swartz Creek United Methodist Church. Paul was born April 6, 1948 in Big Rapids Michigan, the son of Lyle Leon and Rosemary (Schmidt) Mulnix. He resided in Swartz Creek for the past 48 years coming from Durand. He graduated from Durand High School in 1966. He attended Western Michigan University. Paul married Barbara J. Stocking April 20, 1968 in Swartz Creek. He was employed at GM Buick City as a Millwright. He was a member of Swartz Creek United Methodist Church. Paul Loved hunting, fishing, and especially loved spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife, Barbara of Swartz Creek; 3 sons, David (Tracey) Mulnix of Chandler AZ, Jeffrey (Suzette) Mulnix of Linden, Christopher Mulnix of Corunna; 4 grandchildren, Julie (Jeff) Newton of Lennon, Halie Mulnix of Corunna, Marissa Mulnix of Linden, Mason Mulnix of Linden; 2 great grandchildren, Aleenia and Amelia; mother, Rosemary Mulnix of Durand; sister, Roxanne (Dave) Canute of Durand; brother, Dale Mulnix of Durand; several nieces and nephews.
