WRIGHT Samuel Edward "Sam" - Age 86, of Fenton, died July 15, 2018 Funeral services will be held 11AM Thursday July 19, 2018 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel. Our temporary location at Hill Creek Church 5363 Hill Rd., Mundy Township. Burial at Flint Memorial Park, Mt. Morris. Visitation will be held 3-8 PM Wednesday at Hill Creek Church. Those desiring may make contributions to Adopt-A-Pet of Fenton. Sam was born December 17, 1931 in Laingsburg, the son of Charles and Katharine (Craddock) Wright. He married Myra Gaines February 4, 1955. Sam served in the U.S. Navy Reserves and retired from GM with 30 years of service as a journeyman skilled trades. He was a member of the Swartz Creek Masonic Lodge #458 F. & A.M. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Myra; three children, Katharine Wright, Teresa (Claudio Cattai) Wright, Samuel Wright; grandchildren, Kelsey Irland-Wright and Maxim Mostovoy-Wright; sisters, Ann (Wayne) Carlson and Ruth (Ron) Egerton; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Joyce; brother, Stanley. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
