Obituary for Thomas V. Loeffler

LOEFFLER, Thomas V. - Age 86, formerly of Parshallville and Northport, died August 4, 2017. Services will be held 12 PM Saturday, September 9, 2017 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. The family will receive friends from 11 AM until the time of service. Those desiring may make contributions to the Wounded Warrior Project or Alzheimer's Association. Tom was born May 6, 1931 in Lansing, the son of Paul and Helen (Miller) Loeffler. He retired from Diamond Automation with over 35 years of service. Following retirement, he and his wife moved to Northport where they resided for 25 years. Tom loved sailing, woodworking and building homes, but his family was most important to him. He is survived by his children, Tom (Nancy) Loeffler, Lisa (Ward) Isbell; grandchildren, Damon Dance, Amber Loeffler, Megan Loeffler, Terinda Burgess, Crystal Corcoran and Jessica Collins; great-grandson, Nick Loeffler; sister-in-law, Dot (Mike) Duszynski. He was preceded in death by his wife, Edna "Twinkle" Loeffler; daughter, Debra Loeffler; grandson, David Loeffler; brothers, Jack and Dan Loeffler.
