Adella Baranowski

BARANOWSKI, Adella Victoria - Age 86, of Gladwin formerly of Flint, died Thursday, December 11, 2008 in Saginaw. Funeral services will be held 2:30 PM Saturday, December 13, 2008 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek, with Fr. Steven Makranyi officiating. Burial immediately following in All Saints Catholic Cemetery, Flint. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 2-9 PM Friday and 12:00 PM until time of service Saturday. A vigil service will be held 7:30 PM Friday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions to the Adella Baranowski Memorial Fund. Adella was born October 16, 1922 in Flint, the daugther of Andrew and Stephanie (Czyzyk) Sowa. She married Frank Laureto and then married Peter Baranowski May 27, 1966 in Flint and he preceded her in death October 5, 1977. She had resided in Gladwin since 1972, coming from Flint. She was a former member of All Saints Catholic Church and Dom Polski. Surviving are: 4 children, Larry Laureto of Phoenix, AZ, Frank and wife Pamela Laureto of Burton, Laurie and husband Robert Sinkler of Swartz Creek, Dennis Baranowski of Gladwin; 7 grandchildren, Alisa, John, Jennifer, Scott, Troy, Gina and Ramona; 12 great grandchildren, Taylor, Hunter, Marcus, Maya, Chelsea, Matthew, Tyrice, Sierra, Cooper, Jacob, Layne and Paige; brother, Ray and wife Joyce Sowa of Flint. She was also preceded in death by her parents, husband, Frank Laureto, 4 children, Andrea, Robert, Linda and Bruce Laureto; brother, Andrew Sowa.
