Aida ROJAS

ROJAS, Aida, age 79, of Grand Blanc, fell asleep in the Lord surrounded by her loving family in her home Friday, August 6, 2010. Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 9, 2010 at St. George Orthodox Church, G-5191 Lennon Rd., Flint, V. Rev. Fr. Joseph M. Abud celebrant. The family will receive friends 10:00 a.m. Monday at church until time of service. Interment will follow at Flint Memorial Park. Visitation will be Saturday 5 - 8 p.m. and Sunday 1-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Grand Blanc Twp. A Trisagion service will be 7:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to St. George Orthodox Church. Aida was born December 9, 1930 in Santiago, Chile the daughter of Alejandro and Emilia (Latrach) Richmawi. She married Enrique Rojas in 1955 and in 1968 they moved to Flint, Michigan. Aida was the proud owner of Aida's Mid-East Restaurant in Flint, and was a faithful member of St. George Orthodox Church. She was a friendly person who cared deeply for the people in her life. More than anything she loved her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. Surviving are her husband, Enrique; son, Enrique A. Rojas "Kike"; 2 grandchildren, Eric Rojas (Kristina) and Vanessa Rojas; 3 brothers, Salvador, Amin M., Alex Richmawi; 2 sisters, Juanita and Olga Richmawi. She was preceded in death by her parents.
