Alvin Lundgren

LUNDGREN, Alvin E.- Age 86, of Flint, died Tuesday, October 9, 2007 at Durand Convelescent Center.  Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Friday October 12, 2007 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek.  The Rev. Dr. JoAnn K. Slater officiating.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 5-9 PM Thursday.  Those desiring may make contributions to the Genesee County Humane Society.  Mr. Lundren was born December 29, 1920 in Des Moines, IA, the son of Alfred and Ethel Pearl (Feeley) Lundgren.  He married Ethel Jane Higgins October 18, 1941 in Flint, and he has resided in Flint most of his life.  He was a veteran of WWII serving in the U.S. Army.  He retired from AC Spark Plug as a supervisor after 41 years of service.  Surviving are: wife, Ethel Jane; 2 sons, Jerold Lundgren of Ann Arbor and Ronald and wife Lynne Lundgren of Swartz Creek; 3 grandchildren, Ryan and wife Jennifer Lundgren of Swartz Creek, Kristin and husband Matthew Zoltowski of Lake Orion, Gregory Lundgren of Swartz Creek; 2 great grandsons, Logan and Grady.  "Online condolences and tributes may be posted on the Obituaries page of www.sharpfuneralhomes.com".
