KALLIPOLITI, Artemis - age 85, of Davison passed away peacefully at home April 20, 2014 surrounded by her family. Funeral service will be held 12 PM Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at Assumption Greek Orthodox Church, 2245 E. Baldwin Rd., Grand Blanc with Very Reverend Fr. Angelo Maggos officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be held 5-8 PM Tuesday at Sharp Funeral Home, 6063 Fenton Rd., Flint where a Trisagion service will be held at 7 PM. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Assumption Greek Orthodox Mortgage Drive. Mrs. Kallipoliti was born September 3, 1928 in Kavala, Greece, the daughter of Konstantine and Elisavat (Karantani) Giannopoulos. She was a dignified and selfless woman who always put her family first. She was a loving mother to Anna (Nikolas) Anagnostopoulos and a devoted grandmother to Jimmy (Rhonda) and Billy (Evelyn) Anagnostopoulos; five great-grandchildren, Zoe, Morgan, Malorie, Nikolas and Katherine; brother, Aggelos and his family in Greece; many other family members in Greece also survive.
