BERRY, Austin Averil, age 65, of Durand, died Tuesday, February 12, 2008 at home. Services will be 11AM Friday, February 15, 2008 at Argentine Church of the Nazarene, 16248 S. Seymour Rd., Linden. Pastor Ray Raycroft officiating. The family will receive friends 10AM Friday until time of service at church. Memorial contributions may be made to the family. Austin was born February 15, 1942 in Durand the son of Averil and Marjorie (Taylor) Berry. He married Georgia Marshall December 3, 1983. aUSTIN was a graduate of Gaines High School and retired from DeWitt Construction in Florida. Surviving are his wife Georgia; 9 children, Austin Berry (Jenny), Kim Coon (Doug), Louie Berry (Merrilee), Karen Metcalf (Bob), Jeff Sheldon (Cindy), Tammy Snyder (Steve), Danielle Trotter (Bobby Joe), Mary Nagy (Todd), Ray Gasiewicz; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Arlo Berry (Ann), Arnold Berry (Cheryl); sister, Caroline Flowers and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Sandra Berry. Arrangements by Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek.
