Barbara SAYLOR

SAYLOR, BARBARA L. (NANNY), age 79 of Flint, died on Wednesday, March 26, 2014. A service will be held at 12PM Saturday, April 12, 2014 at Sharp Funeral Homes, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek with pastor Timothy Works officiating. The family will receive friends from 10AM until the time of the service Saturday at the funeral home. Barbara was born August 6, 1934 in Pikeville, Kentucky, the daughter of John and Neva Jo Weddington. She moved to Flint, Michigan in 1956. Barbara married Oliver Saylor on May 29, 1965. She was a nurse for many years at McLaren Hospital and Flint Osteopathic Hospital. Surviving are 4 children Karen Richards of Sand Springs, Oklahoma, Shelia Sanford of Flushing, Oliver Saylor of Flint, Jeffrey (Stephanie) Collins of Linden; 16 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 1 great-great granddaughter. Barbara opened her heart and home to many extended children and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by husband Oliver Saylor, son David Ohler, son in law Randall Sanford, parents, brother Warren Weddington, grandmother Cora Brahnam "Granny."
