Barney Hutchens

HUTCHENS, Barney Myron - Age 69, of Burton, died Wednesday, August 24, 2016. Funeral services will be held 2:30 PM Wednesday August 31, 2016 at Great Lakes National Cemetery, 4200 Belford Rd., Holly. Those desiring may make contributions to the family c/o Sharp Funeral Homes. Barney was born in Flint, Michigan the son of the late Byron Virgle and Selma Caroline (Grams) Hutchens. He married Patricia Lou Andrews on June 13, 1977 and she preceded him in death on July 29 of this year. Barney enjoyed rc plans, black powder rifles, fishing, cb's and was a volunteer for Cross Roads Village, Civil War reenactments. Surviving are: children, James Brown, Denice (Donald) Hargarther, Kim (Jim) Cudd, Quentin Hutches; grandchildren, Michelle Green, Amanda Grandquist, Michael Grandquist, Nathaniel Hargarther; great granddaughter, Kayia Grandquist; brothers, Mark and Dale; sisters, Wanda and Lori; many nieces and nephews.
