KLOCKO, Bernard "Ben" - Age 74, of Flushing, died Monday, November 19, 2007 at Genesys Health Park after a courageous fight with cancer. Honoring Ben's request, cremation has taken place. Memorial Mass will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, November 24, 2007 at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, 310 N. Cherry St., Flushing with Fr. Roy Horning celebrant. Inurnment of cremated remains will take place at 2:30 PM Tuesday, November 27, 2007 at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church or North Flint Soup Kitchen, c/o Sharp Funeral Homes. Ben was born April 13, 1933 in Flint the son of Vincent and Josephine (Renkiewicz) Klocko. He married Alice M. Lenhart in Saginaw in 1958 and had lived in the Flint area since 1959. He was a graduate of Flint Northern High School and attended G.M.I. He served in the U.S. Army, Armor Division and received a National Defense Service Medal and Army of Occupation Medal (Germany). He was a member of St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, where he belonged to the Men's Club. Ben worked as a Barber, was a Real Estate Agent and owned Freeway Auto Auction. Surviving are his wife, Alice Klocko of Flushing; 7 children, Kimberly (Peter) Timmerman of Flushing, Suzanne (Doran) Corder of Flushing, Karl (Stacie) Klocko of Flushing, Stuart (Tina) Klocko of Wixom, Kristina (James) Yancho of Flushing, Antoinette (Bert) Timmerman of Flushing, Carrie (Dennis) Logsdon of South Lyon; 18 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; 2 sisters, Irene (Roger) McEmber, Bernice Povlick.  He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Henry; 2 sisters, Eugenia and Helen.
