CARD, Bertha Izora (Myers), age 93, of Fenton, died Friday, December 21, 2007 at Newago Medical Care Facility, Fremont. Funeral services will be 1PM Friday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. Rev. Ward Sipes officiating. Interment in Crestwood Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-8PM Thursday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association. Bertha was born January 15, 1914 in Weidman the daughter of Lyman Ora Chaffee and Maude Estelle Wolover. She was married to Paul Yost Myers who preceded her in death in 1979. Later, she married Henry Card who also preceded her in death in 2000. Bertha had served as a nurse's aid, a minister and a foster care parent for many years until retirement. She is survived by 3 children, Delores A. Bedell of Linden, Bonnie Mulholland of Greenville, IL, Jerome Myers (Joan) of Jackson; 15 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; 16 great-great-grandchildren; 2 daughters-in-law, Myrna Stanbridge (Bobby) of Albertsville, AL, Pat Myers of White Cloud and many loving members of the Card Family.
