Betty Donaldson

DONALDSON, Betty - Age 93, of Linden, died Monday, September 14, 2015. A memorial service will be held 11AM Friday, September 18, 2015, at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Reverend Fred Jolicoeur officiating. Visitation will be held 10AM until time of service on Friday. Those desiring may make contributions to the Salvation Army. Betty was born in Rector, Arkansas, the daughter of the late Marston and Lila (Puckett) Clay. She married Melvin Donaldson in Detroit, Michigan on June 20, 1942 he preceded her in death on August 7, 2007. Mrs. Donaldson retired from U of M Dearborn as an Administrators Assistant with 30 years of service. She was an avid reader and enjoyed sewing. Surviving are: daughters, Pat Hagadon of Fenton, Jackie Burdo of Linden; 4 grandchildren, Kelly (Phil) Ruddy of Linden, John (Kelly) Hulbert of Northville, Joe (Shantel) Hulbert of Redford, Jenny (Bill) Buechel of Northville; 3 Great grandchildren, Clay, Jade, Brookelyn and many nieces and nephews.
