NYHOLM, BettyAnn - age 82, of Lake Fenton, formerly of Grand Blanc, died Wednesday, November 28, 2007. Service will be held 2 PM Saturday, December 1, 2007 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton with Dr. John L. Musgrave officiating. Interment will follow at Flint Memorial Park, Mt. Morris. Visitation will be held 5-8 PM Thursday and 2-4 and 6-8 PM Friday at the funeral home where a Beta Sigma Phi memorial will be held Friday evening. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorial contributions to in lieu of flowers to the Alzheimer's Association. Mrs. Nyholm was born November 30, 1924 in Flint, the daughter of Floyd and Beatrice (Johnson) Woodward. She was a graduate of Flint Central High School. BettyAnn married David T. Nyholm and he preceded her in death in 1993. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Flint and Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. BettyAnn was an avid collector of penguins. Surviving are: three children, David Nyholm and wife, Janet of Fenton, Marc Nyholm and wife, Cindy of Grand Blanc, Lisa and husband, Randy Rose of Fenton; seven grandchildren, Jennifer and husband, Peter Lynch, David, Jr., Christopher, Aaron, Brett, Emily and Nicholas; three great-grandchildren, Bobby, Megan and Luke; brother, John Woodward and wife, Zorina of Fenton; several nieces and nephews; good friends, Virginia Scott, Red Sheltraw and Gloria Kiley. She was also preceded in death by: brother, James Woodward. The family extends a special thank you to the staff of Tanglewood Assisted Living and Avalon Hospice.
