CARRIER, Carl K. - age 72, of Linden, died Saturday, March 3, 2012 at Genesys Health Park. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 AM Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at the chapel of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide St., Fenton with Rev. Fr. David Harvey celebrant. The family will receive friends from 10 AM until the time of mass. Those desiring may make memorial contributions in Carl Carrier's name to the St. John G.I.F.T. campaign. Carl was born November 28, 1939 in Gideon, MO, the son of William Carl and Mildred Marie (Kitchell) Carrier. He married Sally Beasinger on December 1, 1962. Carl was a veteran of the U.S. Army and retired from GM-Buick City in 1996. He was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus Council #7418. Carl will be remembered for his sense of humor. Surviving are: wife, Sally; four children, Pamela (Joel) Buckley of CO, Jennifer (Kyle) Hottinger of Swartz Creek, Matthew (Bethe) Carrier of Grand Ledge, Joseph (Anne) Carrier of Davison; 16 grandchildren; brother, Larry (Mindy) Carrier of Fenton; sister, Peggy Kirby of Grand Blanc; Uncle Bill (Imogene) Kitchell of Grand Blanc; many nieces and nephews.
