Carl E. PARTAIN

PARTAIN, Carl E., age 87, of Flint, passed away Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at Hurley Medical Center. Funeral Services will be 11:00AM Saturday, January 12, 2013 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Flint. Mr. John Henson officiating. Visitation will be Friday 3-8PM at the funeral home. In Lieu of Flowers, donations may be made to the Grand Blanc Church of Christ. Carl was born February 11, 1925 in East Prairie, Missouri the son of the late Charlie and Aura (Zumwalt) Partain. He married Bonnie Mills in Flint on August 21, 1955. Carl was a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corp serving during WWII. He was employed by Buick for 37 years until his retirement on April 1, 1987. Carl was a member of Grand Blanc Church of Christ. He enjoyed traveling, but most of all, he was a proud family man. He loved his wife, son, daughter-in-law and grandsons more than anything. Surviving are his wife of 57 years, Bonnie; son, Jeff and wife, Cindy; grandsons, Nicholas and Steven all of Louisville, KY. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Floyd and Mack Partain.
