Carol Stanke

STANKE, Carol M. - age 65, of Flushing, went to be with her Lord on Friday, November 16, 2007 at Select Specialty Hospital surrounded by her husband and children. A memorial service will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, December 15, 2007 at Grace Lutheran Church, 2526 Corunna Road, Flint.  Rev. Walter J. Oelhafen officiating.  In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to the Visually Impaired Center, Inc, 1422 W. Court St, Flint, MI 48503 or to the family.  Carol was born July 12, 1942 in Flint. She was the daughter of Myer and Camilla Ione (Clem) Paymar. Carol married James Stanke on August 27, 1960. Carol was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Surviving are: husband, James of Flushing; three sons, Kevin of Flint, Keith of Mt. Morris, Korry and wife, Donna of Flint; 8 grandchildren, Ashley, Justin, Jason, Camilla, Gregory, Megan, Krystal, Rebecca; one great-grandchild, Eby; brother, Darrell Paymar of AL.
