Cesley BARNES

BARNES, Cesley, age 65 of Grand Blanc, died Friday April 1, 2011 at Genesys Health Park. Mr. Barnes was born in Rison, Arkansas on March 23, 1946 the son of Willie Barnes and Cora Duncan. He has lived in the Flint area since 1968 and retired from General Motors Corp in 2004 after 35 years of service. He was a member of the UAW local 599 and was married to Keesha Murry in 1999 and she survives. Also surviving are 3 children; Linda Johnson, Cesley Barnes, II and Gabrielle Barnes. Also surviving are 5 grandchildren, 3 sisters, 2 brothers, many nieces and nephews and friends. Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Thursday, April 7, 2011 at Faith Tabernacle, 1225 S. Center Rd., Burton. Pastor Bruce Garner officiating. Visitation will be Thursday at the church from 11:00 A.M. to service time. Burial will be in Flint Memorial Park Cemetery.
