Charles AYRES

Ayres, Charles - Age 64 , of Burton, died Wednesday, September 18, 2013. Funeral services will be held 2:00PM Thursday, September 26, 2013 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint. Visitation will be held 12:00PM until time of service. Those desiring may make contributions to the family. Mr. Ayres was born on May 15, 1949 in Pontiac, Michigan the son of the late Alfred E. and Audrey L. (Nique) Ayres. Charles loved fishing and being outdoors, he served his country in the Army during the Vietnam War from 1968 to 1970. Mr. Ayres worked for Gerbralter Concrete for 25 years. Surviving are: daughter, Jamie and Glenn Sutton: grandson, Eric Sutton; granddaughters, Claire Ann and Abigail Sutton, all of Newberry, Michigan; brother, Gary and Linda Ayres of Waterford; sister, Pamala and Will McDauld of AL; brother, Richard Ayres of Waterford many nieces and nephews.
