Charlie Brushaber

BRUSHABER, Charlie - Age 103, of Gladwin/Flushing, died Sunday, December 16, 2007 at Hyde Park Assisted Living. A memorial service and interment of cremated remains will be held in Gladwin in Spring 2008. Mr. Brushaber was born April 5, 1904 in Beaverton, Michigan the son of John and Pearl (Taylor) Brushaber. He retired from Dow Chemical. Mr. Brushaber was also employed by the Gladwin County Road Commission and Groves Funeral Home in Flint. He was a huge Detroit Tigers Baseball fan and loved to hunt. Surviving are 3 children, Fame (Groves) and husband Jim Jones of Olsmar, FL, Wilma Lohman of Texas, Darwin and wife Shirley Brushaber of Palmetto, FL; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
