BAXTER, Christine - Age 64, of Fenton, died October 27, 2012. Services will be held 11 AM Thursday, November 1, 2012 at New Life Community Lutheran Church, 7235 Torrey Rd., Swartz Creek, Pastor Bradley Yops will officiate. The family will receive friends from 2-8 PM Tuesday at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Flint and from 9:30 AM until the time of service Thursday at the church. Those desiring may make contributions to New Life Community Lutheran Church or My Brothers Keeper. Chris was born September 9, 1948 in Flint. She was the office manager at Genesee Valley Cardiology for 17 years. Chris loved to travel, shop and spend time with family and friends, especially during the Summer on Case's Island. She was a devoted grandmother and never missed anything. Surviving are her husband of 45 years, Donald "Mike" Baxter; daughters, Cindy Baxter-Phillips, Betsy and husband Tom Kato; grandchildren, Mackenzie, Micah, Maxwell, Tanner and Macy; mother-in-law, Maxine Baxter; brother, Doug Erickson; sisters-in-law, Pat Erickson and Sherry Baxter; best friends, Rick and Marilyn Pifer. She was preceded in death by her parents, Genevieve Erickson, George and Ruth Erickson; father-in-law, Donald Baxter.
