Christopher Demaray

DEMARAY, Christopher Michael, beloved husband, father, son, brother, uncle, friend, and child of God passed away on August 1, 2014. He was born March 7, 1972. Chris' childhood was filled with unique adventures alongside lifelong neighborhood friends and siblings. He was theatrical from a young age and held an unparalleled performance in theatre in high school. Proceeding high school he began his yearly tradition of WCCCCY canoe races. On an academic scholarship he completed a BS Degree in Physical Therapy with high honors and pursued an enthusiastic, caring career. Following a phenomenal marriage proposal, he was married in September, 1999. Marriage led to two amazing children and family adventures to include: biking, hiking, traveling, discovering, swimming, teaching, learning, and lively reading. Chris is survived by his wife, Melissa; children, Nicholas and Grace; parents, Thomas and Marilyn Demaray; In-laws, Bev and Ray Durgan; siblings, Kathleen Bourgeau (Aiden, Ava), Gerry Demaray (Logan, Hannah); brother-in-laws, Dan Durgan, Devin Durgan; friend, Lew Wilson; lifelong buddies, Mark Foster, Matt Williams, Fawaz Atchoo.
