Vaughn, Clara Lillian - Age 73, of Flint, died March 23, 2013 at Heritage Manor of Linden. Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at Sharp Funeral Homes and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint. Visitation will be held 2:00PM - 8:00 PM Tuesday and 12PM until time of service Wednesday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions to one's choice . Clara was born May 12, 1939 in Calhoun City, Mississippi, the daughter of the late Ellis Edwin and Edna Alexandria (Franklin) Edwards. Clara owned and operated Ivanhoes Food Markets for 20 years. She was an avid bowler accomplishing a 300 game and a 700 series. Clara loved vacationing with her grandchildren and watching the Detroit Tigers. Surviving are: children, Johnny Vaughn, Debbie Vaughn, Roger Vaughn; grandchildren, Christina, Miranda, Jeffery, Conner, Kelsey, Samantha; great-grandchildren; Nathan, Matthew, Dillian, Dominique, Devin, Lilliania; brothers; James Edwards of MO, David (Toshi) Edwards of CA; sisters Ada Hoffmaster of IN, Mary Bates of Grand Blanc, Cathy Foutch of Burton; many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death also by sisters, Birdie Ramsey, Thelma Gamino, Ellise Edwards and brother Bannie Edwards.
