Climmie Deese

DEESE, Climmie Jay - age 97, of Linden, died Friday, December 5, 2008 at Argentine Care Center. Funeral services will be held 2 PM Tuesday, December 9, 2008 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St., Linden with Pastor Raymond Cocke officiating. The family will receive friends from 1 PM until the time of service on Tuesday. Interment will be held 2 PM Saturday, December 13, 2008 at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church Cemetery in Troy, North Carolina. Mr. Deese was born June 5, 1911 in Anson County, North Carolina. Mr. Deese retired from General Motors as a Drill Press Set-Up man. He was a life long member of the Masonic Lodge and a member of Shawn Baptist Church in Burton. Surviving are: son, Roby Deese and wife, Ramona of Linden; 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
