Clyde RHYMER

RHYMER, Clyde - Age 81, of Flint, died May 16, 2013. Services will be held 11AM Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at Sharp Funeral Homes, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Burial will follow at 1 PM Wednesday at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly. Visitation will be held 9 - 11 AM Wednesday. Mr. Rhymer was born May 31, 1931 in Pineville, Kentucky, the son of Callaway and Nora (Green) Rhymer. He and Yvonne were married August 27, 1953; she preceded him in death June 15, 2006. Clyde served in the US Army during the Korean War. He retired from GM after 42 years of service. Clyde is survived by his daughter, Nora June (Bruce) Garbe; adopted children, Rebecca (Tony) Masden, Nathaniel Tuwaiq, Sylvia (Scott) Guenther, Jessica Tuwaiq and fiance' Daniel McLean; grandchildren, Stefanie Garbe, Heather (Shaun) Hastings, Kate Lane; great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn Guenther, Carson Guenther, Seth Hastings and Gavin Hastings.
