CONKLIN, David Wayne - Age 31, of Flint, died Tuesday, October 7, 2008 at Hurley Medical Center. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Monday, October 13, 2008 at Sharp Funeral Home, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek with Pastor Bradley Lake officiating. Burial immediately following at Crestwood Memorial Cemetery, Grand Blanc. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 2-9 PM Sunday. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to the David Conklin Memorial Fund. David was born July 29, 1977 in Flint, the son of Larry Daniel, Sr. and Melinda (Bennett) Conklin. He had resided in Flint his entire life. David worked for many years at John's Coney Island. Surviving are: fiancee, Shannon Pantoja of Flint; 4 children, Kayle, Jade, Lacy and Laira Conklin all of Flint; mother, Melinda and husband John Papke of Flint; father, Larry Conklin, Sr.; brother, Shannon Conklin of North Carolina; several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
