David Allen SIMPSON

July 25, 1933 — February 26, 2009

SIMPSON, David Allen, age 75, of Fenton, died Sunday, February 22, 2009 at home. Funeral services will be 11AM Thursday, February 26, 2009 at First Prebyterian Church of Fenton, 503 S. Leroy St., Fenton. Pastor Dale C. Swihart Jr. officiating. Visitation will be 2-8PM Wednesday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. Service of tribute by the Fenton Eagles Club will be at 7PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the David Allen Simpson Memorial Fund. David was born July 25, 1933 in Fenton the son of Albert Simpson and Mildred Hartman and had resided in Fenton all his life. He was a 1952 graduate of Fenton High School, a veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of the Fenton Eagles. David retired from Grand Blanc Golf Course and worked at Fenton Farms for many years. He married Maxine Corrin in Fenton. Surviving are his wife, Maxine; 4 children, Kimberly (Bruce) Wheeler, Valerie Simpson, Jennifer Simpson, Michelle Berry (Eddie Chaprnka) all of Fenton; 4 step-children, Robert Alan Moore (Suzanne), Kathleen Padisak both of Fenton, Mark J. Moore of Harrison, Anne Marie Curtis (Timothy) of Virginia; 17 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; special cousin, Brian Grey of California; and special friend, Ms. Bea Wilhite of Louisiana.
