Delmar GRIMES

GRIMES, Delmar "Del", age 75, of Burton, died Saturday at his home. Del was born November 27, 1933 in Bragg City, Missouri the son of the late Lawson and Eula (Cruse) Grimes. Mr. Grimes served in the U.S. Army and retired from a career in engineering. He married Leona Lee on May 19, 1979 who survives. He has 5 children, Diane Seder, Bill (Becky) Stapp, Jeff (Tricia) McAllister, Clay (Cindy) Grimes, Veronica (David) Brown; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; sister, Verna Henrick; brother, Harold Grimes; 2 sister-in-laws, Bev Grimes, Pat (Jake) Jacek; 2 brother-in-laws, Clifford (Bernice) Lee, Don (Jackie) Lee. He was also preceded in death by 2 brothers, Zelmer and Duane Grimes; and sister-in-law, Judy Grimes. Funeral services will be 1PM Wednesday, April 8, 2009 at Sharp Funeral Homes and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Grand Blanc Twp. Pastor Michael Kicsko officiating. Visitation will be 3-8PM Tuesday and 12PM Wednesday until the time of service at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Genesys Hospice or Central Church of the Nazarene.
