Dennis Berry

Berry, Dennis William - of Linden, MI, passed peacefully at home on September 26, 2016. He was incredibly proud of his two daughters Jordan Mullins and Lauren Berry, and is also survived by his siblings Deborah Wheeler (Jon), Cynthia Stach, Rodney Berry, nieces Kristina Daniels and Merisa Berry, and great-niece and nephew Madison and Jacob. Dennis was born February 23, 1949 in Flint, MI and dedicated himself to more than 35 years of service in both teaching and coaching. Outside of school he enjoyed golfing, skiing at Nubs Nob with family, or enjoying the writings of Hemingway, Emerson, or Thoreau. Students and peers recall him as a remarkable teacher of literature, expecting the best from those that passed through his classroom. He will forever be remembered for the depth of his influence on many young minds.
