Dennison Bonney

BONNEY, Dennison Phelps - Age 76, of Swartz Creek, died July 27, 2014. Services will be held 12 PM Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at Trinity United Presbyterian Church, 5151 Lennon Rd., Flint. Pastor Desiree Lawson will officiate. The family will receive friends from 10 AM until the time of service. Those desiring may make contributions to Trinity United Presbyterian Church or American Lung Association. Dennison was born October 8, 1937 in Flint, the son of Lyle and Dorothy (Metcalf) Bonney. Mr. Bonney worked as a truck driver, retiring in 1983. He was a past member of Community Presbyterian Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, was an avid reader and loved to whistle. His greatest enjoyment was working on cars. Surviving are: wife, Sharon; daughter, Tamara (Dewayne) Mellen; son, Mark Bonney; grandchildren, Cameron and Mariah; sisters, Donna (Edward) Selves and Carolyn Abeare; brother, Douglas Bonney; special niece, Kim; many beloved nieces and nephews.
