Donald Leon PARKER

PARKER, Donald Leon -- Age 83, of Hale, formerly of Byron, died Tuesday, September 24, 2013 at Covenant Health Care in Saginaw. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Saturday September 28 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton, Pastor Jerry Paul Grubbs officiating. Visitation will be held 2-4 PM and 6-9 PM Friday, 10-11 AM Saturday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions to the charity of choice. Donald was born May 20, 1930 in Valley Creek, TN, the son of Leo Vincent and Mabel Frances (Moore) Parker. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He retired from General Motors, and after retirement went to work for Adler Homes. Mr. Parker is survived by his wife of 61 years, Jessie Alfea Parker; three children, Ron Parker of Orlando, FL., Mike (and wife Tara) Parker of Gaines, Debra Olmstead (Tom Line) of Howell; 5 grandchildren; brother, Glen Parker of TN.
