Dorothy Lohnes

LOHNES, Dorothy L. - age 88, of Swartz Creek, died Friday, December 12, 2008 at Brian's House Hospice. Services will be held at 11 AM Monday, December 15, 2008 at the mausoleum of Crestwood Cemetery with Chaplain Hank Messing officiating. Entombment will be held immediately following the service. Dorothy was the daughter of Ray and Florence Edson. She was born in Flint Township on January 2, 1920 and lived in the area her entire life. She was a graduate of Baker Business College and was employed by Buick during World War II in the personal department and until she was married in 1953. She retired from Drs. Herzog and Herzog, orthopedic surgeons in 1988 after 30 years of service. Mrs. Lohnes married Reynolds in 1953 and he preceded her in death on March 23, 1995.
