Dorothy Savage

SAVAGE, Dorothy Kathryn (Dauer) - age 95, of Grand Blanc (Abbey Park), died Saturday, July 19, 2008 at Crestmont Healthcare Facility. Funeral services will be held 3 PM Tuesday, July 22, 2008 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Entombment will be held at Oakwood Mausoleum in Saginaw. Visitation will be held from 2-9 PM Monday and 1 PM until the time of service Tuesday at the funeral home. Mrs. Savage was born January 29, 1913 in Saginaw, the daughter of Frederick and Wilemena (Redig) Dauer. She married George E. Savage on September 14, 1935 in Saginaw and he preceded her in death. She was a resident of Grand Blanc for 50 years. She was a long-time member of Faith Lutheran Church in Grand Blanc. Surviving are: three children, Judith and husband, Roger Sharp of Lake Fenton, Gerald Savage and wife, Carol of Alabama, Janice and husband, Earl Walker of Prudenville; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and many friends. She was also preceded in death by her son, James Robert Savage.
