FERGUSON, Douglas A. - Age 63, of Fenton, died May 10, 2012. Services will be held 1:00 PM Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. Interment will follow at Great Lakes National Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until the time of service. Those desiring may make contributions to the Wounded Warrior Project. Doug was born July 13, 1948 in Bay City, the son of Donald and Elsie (Salyer) Ferguson. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in Vietnam and was a member of the Fenton VFW Curtis-Wolverton Post #3243. Doug was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved to play Bingo. Surviving are: children, Douglas Ferguson Jr., Mandi Ferguson; grandchildren, Kyler, Breanna, Kiriana and Joseph; siblings, Penny Polston, Patricia Roux, Donald Ferguson, Corinne Ferguson; former wife, Cheryl Gabriele; several nieces and nephews.
