Edna McConnell

McCONNELL, Edna Ruth - Age 66, of Swartz Creek, died Wednesday, January 30, 2008 at her residence. A memorial service celebrating her life will be held 2PM Sunday, February 17, 2008 at Eagle's Nest Church, 4181 E. Mt. Morris Rd., Mt. Morris with Pastor Larry Survance officiating. Mrs. McConnell was born October 29, 1941 in Cullman, AL the daughter of Homer Jewell and Iler (Grahamn) Johnson. She had been a resident of Swartz Creek since 1962. She married Robert G. McConnell in 1962 and he preceded her in death April 12, 2006. Mrs. McConnell was a homemaker who loved gardening, her family and her dog, Tribble. Surviving are 3 daughters, Donna and husband Matt Foust of Mt. Morris, Lawanda and husband Steve Johnson of Mt. Morris, Barbara and Tom Ginter of Clio; 2 step-children, Robert McConnell and Betty Ann Bickell; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Joseph Johnson of Alabama; 3 sisters, Damaris and husband Don McCarley, Charlene Johnson, Wanda June and husband Paul Bailey, all of Alabama; many nieces and nephews.
