NICKEL, Eldora B., age 92, of Fenton, died Wednesday, October 31, 2007 at McLaren Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be 2PM Sunday, November 4, 2007 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. Pastor Robert Benson officiating. Entombment will follow services at Crestwood Memorial Cemetery Mausoleum. Visitation will be 4-8PM Saturday and 1PM Sunday until time of service at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to Adelphian Junior Academy, Holly. Eldora was born July 28, 1915 in Gladwin County the daughter of Axel and Lena (Sturm) Olson. She married Walter F. Nickel on August 1, 1940 in Bowling Green, Ohio and he preceded her in death on September 19, 1996. Eldora was employed at McLaren Regional Medical Center as a Registered Nurse until her retirement in 1977 and was a member of Fenton Seventh Day Adventist Church. Surviving are her 5 children, Bernita Cheeseman of Livonia, Theodore Nickel of Fenton, Jeanne Lance (Robert) of Wythebille, VA, Bonita Huddleston (Melvin) of Payson, AZ, Â Edwin Nickel (Diane) of Mesa, AZ; 21 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great grandchildren; sister, Elsie Melms (Walter) of Goodels.
