Eleanor Burton

Burton, Eleanor, age 84, of Fenton, died Thursday, June 1, 2006 at Fenton Extended Care. In celebration of her life, private family services will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mental Health Association of Michigan, 15920 W. 12 Mile Rd. Southfield, MI 48076. Eleanor was born July 3, 1921 in Lynn, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Richard and Nellie (Quick) Grider. Eleanor lived most of her life in Kansas, Colorado, Wyoming, and in 1981 moved to Michigan to live near her family. Surviving are her 3 daughters, Barbara Burton Riggs of North Little Rock, Arkansas and children, David, Toni, and Michelle of Casper, Wyoming, Jennifer Burton Hoag (Jeffrey) and daughters, Laura and Sarah, of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Terrilee Burton Gillanders and daughter, Heather of Flushing; 8 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents.
