April 12, 1916 — January 21, 2007

LUTZ, Elizabeth - Age 90, of Fenton, died Sunday, January 21, 2007 at Holly Convalescent Center. Funeral services will be held 12 Noon Wednesday, January 24, 2007 at First Presbyterian Church of Fenton, 503 S. Leroy St., Fenton with Pastor Dale Swihart officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery, Fenton. Visitation will be held 5-8PM Monday, 2-5 and 6-8PM Tuesday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. Those desiring may make contributions to First Presbyterian Church of Fenton Memorial Fund or the Alzheimer's Association. Mrs. Lutz was born April 12, 1916 in Calumet, Michigan the daughter of John and Mary (Sundberg) Johnson. She had been a resident of Fenton most of her life and graduated from Fenton High School in 1934. She then went on to attend Detroit Business School. She and Robert Lutz were married September 9, 1936 in Detroit and together they went on to own and operate Lutz TV until 1980. Mrs. Lutz was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Fenton. She was also past member of Fenton Kiwanis Auxiliary, a member of Fenton Sewing Circle and started Fenton Welcome Wagon. Mrs. Lutz was an avid golfer and belonged to a Women's Golf League at Fenton Farms. She also served as a leader to the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts of America. Surviving are her husband, Robert of Fenton; 4 children, Robert and wife Beverly Lutz of Panama City Beach, FL, Kim and wife Martha Lutz of McLean, VA, Greg Lutz of Ann Arbor and Julie Lutz of Fenton; 10 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 sisters, Mary and Lila; 3 brothers, John, William and Peter.
