ROBINS, Ella M. - Age 96, of Linden, died Saturday, August 16, 2008 at Caretel Inns of Linden. Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM today at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St., Linden. Rev. Parker Smith and Pastor Donald Neuville officiaiting. Burial in Oakwood Cemetery, Fenton. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 1:00 PM until time of service. Those desiring may make contributions to Linden Presbyterian Church. Ella was born May 14, 1912, the daughter of Melvin and Jessie Parks. She retired from GMC in Pontiac after 25 years of service. She was a life member of the Order of the Eastern Star for more than 60 years and also, was a member of the Rebecca Lodge in Pontiac. Surviving are: nieces and nephews, Jon and Loretta Mead, Larry and Judy Collins, Cinda Collins, Dawn Collins, Keith and Nancy Collins; step children, Thomas and Judy Robins, Shirley Holtslander; many other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard Robins; brother, Ward Parks; step son-in-law, Robert Holtslander. The family wishes to extend a special thanks to the staff of Caretel Inns of Linden and the staff of Genesys Hospice.
