TYKOCKI, Emily Agnes - Age 93, of Fenton formerly of Livonia, died Friday, November 7, 2008 at Tanglewood Assisted Living. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 AM Monday, November 10, 2008 at the chapel of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide St., Fenton. Fr. Bosco Padamattummal celebrant. Burial at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Lansing. Visitation will be held at Sharp Funeral Home, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton from 2-8 PM Sunday and at church from 10 AM until time of Mass Monday. A vigil service will be held at the funeral home 7:30 PM Sunday. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to Avalon Hospice. Mrs. Tykocki was born October 11, 1915 in Lyndora, PA, the daughter of Matthew and Mary (Brtoz) Todek. She married Henry J. Tykocki January 14, 1939 in Lansing and he preceded her in death May 4, 1997. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. The family wishes to extend special thanks to nurses Amy and Jeri of Avalon Hospice and the staff at Tanglewood Assisted Living, for the special care they gave our mother. Surviving are: 2 sons, David and wife Carol of Fenton, Douglas and wife Lorna of Avon, OH; 6 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
