Esther Burge

BURGE, Esther, age 83 of Flushing, died at home, Saturday, February 27, 2010. She was born in Sheboygan, WI, January 17, 1927 the daughter of George and Lydia (Meyer) Elsesser. Mrs. She married Gerald Burge July 21, 1953 after serving in the U.S. Navy. She retired in 1979 after 20 years of service with Buick Mtr.Division. In retirement she enjoyed traveling, shopping and going to the casinos, but most of all enjoyed her grandchildren Surviving are her husband, Gerald; 3 daughters, Sharon Amy (Reno Ybarra), LuAnn (Richard) Moore and Jeri Rae (Michael)Kutzy. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren and a sister, Ruth White. She was preceded in death by her parents, 4 brothers, 6 sisters and a grandson. Funeral services will be 12:00 Noon Tuesday, February 2, 2010 at Sharp Funeral Home, Miller Rd. Chapel, Swartz Creek. Pastor Jim Nelson will officiate with burial to follow at Crestwood Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will Tuesday at the funeral home from 10:00 A.M. to the time of service.
