Eugene AUTRY

AUTRY, Eugene - Age 72, of Lennon formerly of Flint, died Thursday, January 6, 2011 at Durand Senior Care and Rehab Center. Funeral services will be held 12:30 PM Tuesday, January 11, 2011 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Tuesday from 11:00 AM until time of service. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to the Shriner's Hospitals for Children or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Mr. Autry was born August 23, 1938 in Flint, the son of Bryan and Florence (Henson) Autry. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army in the Chemical Corp. Mr. Autry retired from GM Buick Motors and was a member of U.A.W. Local 599. Surviving are: 2 children, Bryan Autry and Linda of Durand and Ann Autry and Ben of Lennon; 3 grandchildren, Amber, Ryan and Emily Autry; 2 great grandsons, Donavon and Zachariah; great granddaughter, Ellyana; his children's mother, JoAnn Tapp of Lennon; 2 brothers, Daivd Autry of Fenton and Olis and wife Barbara Autry of Tennessee; several nieces and nephews.
