Florence KIVANOSKI

KIVANOSKI, Florence -- Age 90, formerly of Flint, died May 19, 2010 at The Fountains in Southfield. Services will be 2 PM Monday, May 24 at the chapel at Machpelah Cemetery, Flint. Rabbi Karen Companez officiating. Mrs. Kivanoski was born June 18, 1919 in Detroit the daughter of Max and Ida (Nelson) Resnick. She was married to Jake Kivanoski on March 1, 1959 in Detroit; he preceded her in death January 23, 1998. Mrs. Kivanoski was secretary for UAW Local 599 retiring in 1982. She had resided in Flint since 1960 and was an active member of the Flint Jewish Community. Surviving are: niece Judith Jacobson of West Bloomfield; nephew Ed and wife Cathy Witkow of Sterling Heights and their three sons and families.
